we offer log furniture for all rooms in your home.
All rustic furniture items are meticulously handcrafted, from peeling
lodge pole pine logs, to assembling the products. We are able to bring
you log furniture from the single largest and most trusted of rustic
furniture manufacturers. Dried by the forces of nature, there is no
moisture in the logs. The rustic quality of the cracks, or checking,
adds character to the beauty of the
log.
In true handcrafted
fashion, draw knives are used to hand peel the bark from the logs. The
skip-peel procedure leaves just enough color from the inner bark to
give the appearance of natural texture and color contrast, giving each
piece that rustic furniture appeal.
One assembly technique used in
making the rustic log furniture is mortise and tenon joinery, known
for its strength & heirloom quality craftsmanship. The skip peel
process, done by hand with draw knives, gives our log furniture color
contrast and texture. We provide furniture with a clear lacquer
finish, although unfinished is also an option.
 Boot
Hill Gallery also carries a line of beautiful, hand-carved, solid oak
chairs and rockers. Considered the "Cadillac" of rocking chairs
because of their master
craftsmanship these "Rockers" and "Chairs" are considered heirloom
pieces that will stay in the family for generations.
Not only does this line produce magnificent rockers, but many other
pieces compliment the line: sofas, loveseats, benches, bench rockers,
chairs, ottomans, chaises, farm tables, farmhouse butcher blocks,
bunkhouse beds, mule chests, western desks, swivel desk chairs, card
tables and chairs.
 The furniture features choice fabrics and leather along with hair on
hide applications. All leather is not the same. Each piece of leather
has unique marks and surface features which testify to the
authenticity of natural leather.
These distinctive marks are barbed
wire nicks, range marks, brands and slight color variations. Surface
markings and variations in color are natural characteristics of fine
leather. These characteristics along with the soft, rich feeling of
finished leather are what makes owning leather products so very
special.
